Paty Dorm Reviews at University of Alabama

Paty Hall has been a 10/10 experience for me! When I first moved in, everyone has been so helpful and friendly and even people who stay here still are now. The floors are divided by genders and the girls on my hall and my RA are nice and friendly as we even have bounding activities and game nights! Paty hall is definitely clean and the staff and residents does a amazing job everyday keeping it this way. I feel as if many think communal showers aren’t clean but here, they are so clean and nice. As most communal showers, it is just a curtain and the shower whereas here the doors for the shower are like bathroom stalls that give you so much more privacy! I have loved my experience living here so far and the environment and would definitely recommend to any freshmen in the upcoming years!

I enjoyed staying at Paty, but the entire place is pretty run-down, gross and cramped. Be sure to wear shower-shoes, and try not to think about the noise. I will say that the atmosphere is nice; there's always a funny sort of bond with people who have previously stayed at Paty: "Once a Paty boy, always a Paty boy."
