Pomfret Hall Dorm Reviews at University of Arkansas

Pomfret is on the outskirts of Campus closest to the athletic facilities including the Basketball Court and Football field as well as the UREC and other sports complexes. I am on the fifth floor which is very quiet and clean. Pomfret has a great dinning hall in it which has good food and is very convenient. The rooms are small as a dorm is expected to be but all furniture is movable. Bathroom is clean and decently sized, rarely crowded. There is an outside sitting area with tables and lights where many people stop and hangout. Staff is very kind and helpful to everyone. To get to where the center of campus is there is about and 5 minute walk up a steep hill although you can also go a longer way that is not as tiring.

So far, I enjoy this dorm! The only complaints I have are that the dorm is located on the complete opposite side of campus from all the classes and the walk uphill is deadly. Also, the bathrooms could sometimes be cleaner. Overall, the dorm is pretty nice and has a very friendly atmosphere, would definitely recommend.

Pomfret hall was an exciting place to live as a new freshman. There was always someone next door or down the hall that was new and excited to meet me. I think that the most important thing to know about Pomfret is that it is truly a community. It is hands-down the most social dorm on campus. It can be loud and a little rowdy sometimes, but at the end of the day, it is perfect for the social new freshman.

pomfret Hall was a community dorm, located down the hill at the University of Arkansas. Because it was located at the bottom of the hill. It was a tough walk up the hill to school in the morning. However, the dorm was very close to the basketball, stadium, football, stadium, and student fitness center. pomfret was a community style dorm which meant that students would hang out often in the common areas. The common area included ping-pong tables, pool tables, a movie room, and study rooms. One of my favorite parts about Pomfret hall was that there was a dining hall in the middle of the common area, which meant that you never had to leave the dorm to get food.

Excited to be close to the stadium. Quiet dorm with updated eating and outside areas. Perfect distance to all the sporting venues and not a bad walk to the main teaching building. Room size is perfect and was an easy move in.

Pomfret hall is what can be expected from the typical expectation of dorm life. The appliances are nothing special and a bit outdated, but the access to an attached dining hall and the proximity to the rec center is very nice.

Overall Pomfret Hall is a great dorm hall to stay in. Although we are down the hill, we have out own cafe and restaurant called Pig Theory. We are near the Athletic center as well as the Basketball Arena. The dorm is typically clean, bathrooms are cleaned daily around noon. You never have to wait on an open sink, stall or shower. The floor I stay on is always quiet. The food is pretty good. Free washer and dryers as well as an ice machine. There's the great room which is a big open space for meetings, games like ping pong, or events. I would definitely recommend Pomfret Hall for a living space.

It was a good dorm. I really liked the study rooms because it was quite and clean. The common areas are nice and there is a lot of things to do. The only thing that I was not satisfied with was how clean were the bathrooms, especielly on the weekends, they were dirty. Another great thing about Pomfret is that there is a dining hall inside the dorm, so you do not have to walk to other dining halls each time. The rooms were nice and spacious. Also, the staff was friendly.
