Baridon Hall Dorm Reviews at UCA

I love living in Baridon with my roommate, Coleen. Since it is only us two, we have our own rooms. Our RA, Ricardo is really awesome. The only thing I would change is how loud the people above us are.

I think Baridon Hall is one of the best freshmen halls on campus. My favorite feature about Baridon is that each room has its own bathroom to share versus having community bathrooms. There is also a kitchen that students can use to cook, which is nice when you get tired of the cafe or food in the student center.

During my first semester staying at Baridon hall, it wasn't the best, but it was better than other dorms I have seen on campus. It came with two rooms in one, and two people in each of the rooms along with a bathroom and small living space. It was definitely a decent size the only issue I faced was the maintenance it gets dirty fast so I had to clean more often than usual. Another issue I had was dealing with getting rid of the insects there were always ladybugs crawling on the ceiling right above where I laid my head and ants on the grown that would come in groups. After spraying the whole room down with bug spray a few times I didn't have the problem as much with ants, but with ladybugs. I loved taking showers there because the water always gets really hot and the bathroom mirror was pretty big. It had two sinks and a little closet to keep things like towels and another toilet utensils. The actual toilet itself had a door you could close behind you so if u wanted to use the restroom while someone was using the shower you could.

It is amazing. It is a great size and has a great kitchen in it. The laundry room is big and there is a workout room. It is easy to enter and I feel very safe in it. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
