Laben Hall Dorm Reviews at UC Davis

Laben Hall was extremely close to all my classes, which was nice. The building itself is fine, it has study rooms on each floor and a decent community kitchen on the first floor. The common areas are well furnished and kept very clean. The bathrooms were communal which sometimes meant they weren't as clean as I would've liked. Maintenance was good when it came to our individual room but we had a broken shower curtain in one of the bathrooms for over a month.

I stayed in Laben in 2014 as a Freshman. The smell of the cows wasn't so bad in my room, but you can always smell it when you leave your dorm all the way until you're halfway towards campus. But the main campus was a 5 min walk away, so it wasn't so bad. My dorm was fairly new, great AC, had lots of space, and was pretty quiet.
