The Green at West Village Dorm Reviews at UC Davis

Constantly losing power and/or Wi-Fi. Walls can be considered thin, since you can hear your upstairs neighbor pretty well. Some people have intermittent hot water issues. Convenient in the fact that it isn't too far from campus (but could be closer) and isn't surrounded by much, only a series of three eateries. Everyone mostly keeps to themselves within a building, but are pretty social on the Discord.

As of now, the Green has been a great experience. No really loud noises except from time to time. The kitchen and bathroom are great and modern. Even though it's somewhat far from campus, biking or taking the bus makes it very manageable to get to class on time. Even walking to campus isn't bad just leave a bit early. Nice community center and gym too.

Overall the Green is really nice to live in. There isn't really anything to complain about, the only issues I have are that it is kind of far from campus, but with a bike or scooter it's quite easy and quick to head to the campus over the bike bridge.

Newly built so nothing is run down yet, The views are great and it is very bike accessible. There is a parking lot so you can bring your car to school as well. I like that is an apartment-type room instead of traditional dorms.

The Green at West Village is brand new but since the apartment complex is new the rent per month is more expensive than any apartment for college students in Davis, California. I live in a 4 bedroom 2 and 2 bath apartment. Our apartment is completely furnished but we have not been able to decorate as much because of the price were paying for rent. But, I strongly believe that where someone lives should feel like home in a sense and somewhere they love to be and feel comfortable in.
