Tower II Dorm Reviews at UCF

My experience has been wonderful. The staff is very helpful but maintenance lets themselves into the apartments without warning which is a bit worrisome. Other than that, there are always fun events and opportunities to meet people.

Wonderful accommodations in terms of layout. The nearby restaurants are also incredibly convenient. The only downside is that it's a solid 20 minute walk from the main campus area. However, I don't mind the walk as it's scenic and uses clear sidewalk paths.

Tower II is definitely a great on campus dormitory experience. While it is somewhat far away from the classroom buildings, things like local amenities, nice staff and the cleanliness gives a good experience. It has close proximity to the sports facilities of UCF, like the stadium and track, meaning it can be very lively for those that enjoy festivities. Overall, I am personally fairly satisfied with Tower II, and I encourage other students to consider it as an option.

While I did have neighbors that were pretty noisy and bit rowdy, my overall experience in my dorm was great. I had excellent roommates and the room size was bigger than expected. The full beds are also nicer than the twinXLs at many other college dorms. I do however feel it is a major inconvenience to those that live on the right side of the tower that there is no keypad to enter the side door there. I don't know how many times I dreaded having to walk all the way around the floor to get to my room when the stairs are literally right next to it. Other than that, tower II was nice and I would recommend it to anyone interested in trying out dorm life.

you may want to bring cleaning supplies to your dorm since cleaning takes place twice throughout the semester and your room gets really dirty if u eat in your room. The people around you will talk to if you want to.

In my opinion, the best place to live at UCF is the Towers. It's pretty close to the fun areas on campus. Don't live anywhere else on UCF. However, just because it's the best at UCF doesn't mean it's relatively good in comparison to other living areas. Your dorm will end up smelling like weed nearly every day due to the ventilation system. You can't do anything about it. The staircase is also pretty dirty; the maintenance team can only do so much.

The elevators are always broken and it is very scary to ride them. I live on the fifth floor and it is difficult to carry all of my groceries up the stairs. They break at least once a week and at least one of them is down for 3 days at a time. Extremely inconvenient.

Tower 2 is very pleasant as you get your own bedroom, and have the option of either a 2 bathroom or 4 bathroom room. You can match with potential roommates through the housing portal to find people with similar interests. Due to the fantastic location, as tower 2 is right next to the football and basketball stadium, I would say it is the best on campus housing available at UCF.
