Gondolin Dorm Reviews at UC Irvine

It was a really great experience overall with my dorm being near everything such as the mail, the cafeteria, and the housing office. My roommates were great and I liked the windows of my room. I had a triple. The staff and RA were all really friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were cleaned on weekdays and were pretty great but the other residents weren’t as clean as they could’ve been when cleaning after themselves. Although it is one of the older dorms I really liked my experience there and the people living there made it even better. Even though my room was a triple I found that it was enough space to move around and it didn’t bother me. (This might vary for other dorms)

I really liked the area of my dorm and the convenience it gave. The mail room and the dining area being nearby was really nice. I overall really liked my dorm. I liked using the common room often with my friends to hangout and study so that was nice. The staff and RA were all great. However, because it was a high traffic area where people would pass it would be kind of loud at times. The noise was also due to a lot of construction in the area.
