Mesa Court Towers Dorm Reviews at UC Irvine

My experience at Caballo was amazing. I met a lot of wonderful friends and had an lovely RA. Throughout the year, it hosted lots of events, like, slime making, snack nights to help us through finals, and so much more. Sometimes, it could get a little loud at night but overall, I had a great year at Caballo.

The people here are very friendly and nice. It is easy to make friends since many students at Mesa Court are more extroverted and outgoing. The rooms are very soundproof. The view from the dorms is also really nice since it overlooks the campus on one side and the river on another. The dorms have big windows so we had plenty of natural light coming in. No AC but there are study rooms in each floor and many places throughout the common area to socialize or study. We had a shared kitchen and a ping pong table for every two floors. The Anteatery cafeteria has good food and plenty of seats.

Great place to stay since its a ten minute walk to campus and right next to the dining hall. Theres several levels and each level has a common area with a table and a couch to hangout with your friends.

Even through COVID-19, the Mesa Court towers were very nice! I was able to make new friends with many of the people on my floor. The rooms are very spacious, and having a shared bathroom between two rooms is really convenient. The towers have space on the wall specifically so you can hang your pictures, artwork, etc.

Living in the Mesa Court Towers was a great experience and felt like something beyond dorm life. Everything was very well maintained, spacious, and felt high-end. There was plenty of common space areas with entertainment and study rooms. It was a great place to socialize in and build relationships with other students on campus.

Living at Mesa my first year of college was one of my favorite experiences. I enjoyed how the dorms were off the main campus because it allowed me to walk and clear my head on the way to class. My RA was such an amazing resource and mentor to have during that transition period of moving away from home to starting college.

Mesa is towards the outer skirts of the University of California, Irvine. The pros are definitely that the dorms are relatively more quiet than the dorms that are directly inside the school. Cons are that it is a walk and definitely not ideal if you're late!

Mesa Court was a very nice and quiet dorm. I stayed in one of the smaller dorms and connected with my hall mates much more quickly than I expected. I rooms itself were fairly small too, but it allowed us to spend more time outside of it to mingle with other students. Overall, I had a very positive experience in Mesa Court and I would recommend the Towers to any incoming UCI freshmen.

I loved living here! It was my first time dorming and I made so many new friends in my hall. The common room is spacious and my dorm room was neat and had all the necessities such as a desk, bed, and closet. The bathroom was cleaned often by the cleaning staff and there was a lot of study spaces in the hall, study room, and common room. I overall enjoyed my experience dorming in the Mesa Court Towers.
