It's great getting to live in a suite. The rooms are a little small for 3 people, however living here during COVID they were downsized to 2 people per room which made it perfect and spacious as a 4-person suite. The elevators and common areas are usually kept clean, and the laundry rooms usually aren't too crowded. There's vending machines but only for drinks, not snacks.

My favorite place I lived while at UConn. Such a great experience, I felt so satisfied as my prior form was not my ideal place to live. My friends were so accessible to me and it was so easy to meet new people in such a large yet comforting facility

I lived in Busby for three semesters and I had an overall pleasant experience. Each room is a triple with a bathroom connected to another triple. I enjoyed not having to share the bathroom with the entire floor of people. One of the reasons that I chose to live in this dorm was because every room has their own thermostats to control heat and AC. This was big because many other dorms did not have that luxury. However, the dorm was located on one side of the campus on top of a hill so walking back after class was not enjoyable. This was made worse in the winter, when the foot path to the dining hall was snowed over and was always last to be shoveled. I lived with one girl I was close with and the other I did not meet until moving in. If able, I recommend knowing (and liking) both roommates in the room before moving in. The common areas have standard couches, sofa chairs and tables for studying. Each floor also has private study rooms at the end of the hall that are closed off to reduce noise which can be very helpful. The building also offers top notch, super close parking for residents with cars. The staff are very nice.
