Werth Tower Dorm Reviews at UConn

Werth Tower is great! I love the building itself, the cleanliness, and the rooms are very nice. I personally like the location as well, as it is very close to the track, student union, rec center, and other main parts of campus. However, it is a pretty long walk to Storrs center and some dining halls. But, there are always busses that I can take to anywhere on campus making the location not a big deal. Overall, I really love Werth and hope to stay in it for next semester as well.

I loved living in Werth my freshman year and also loved being involved in a learning community while living there. The building is super accessible from the middle of campus, Putnam dining hall and the mailroom is right across the courtyard, and the building is super clean. I used the cut through from the track to the field house all the time to get to the Student Union and central campus faster. The elevators and huge laundry rooms were super convenient. The building was also super safe as you had to swipe your ID to get in and to go upstairs in the elevators or stairs. Having a bus stop right near the building was also very convenient. One downside was walking up the killer set of stairs on the side of the track to get up to the building. The multiple study rooms on each floor and big lounges with TVs were great for studying with friend groups and hanging out.

It's probably the nicest hall on campus since it is the newest. Everything is very clean and new. There is a thermostat in every room. This hall is the best hall, unlike the other ones where the ceiling tiles fall off the ceiling.

If you are lucky enough to live in Peter J Werth Tower. Do not take it for granted. It has amazing views and even better location being right next to the field, Putnam dining, and being only a 4 minute walk to the heart of Uconn.

My experience this semester at Werth Tower was great! I really enjoyed the eight story residence hall. The common areas or the lounge was always very clean and a great place to study and hang out with friends. The location was also amazing; very convenient to everything on campus!

Its been pretty good so far, I haven't had any serious issues, but this semester is also different because of COVID. The building has various security measures in order to maintain our safety. If your interested in apart of a community of people who have the same interest as you it is a good fit for you.
