George Read Hall Dorm Reviews at Delaware

George Read is a very interesting experience, as a freshman I am constantly shocked by the behavior other undergrad students display at George Read. The majority of students are messy, loud, and rude at times but you all become a community. Despite the differences in character, since almost all the students in George Read are freshmen you create this community of people who are all there for each other. If you are going to the dorm at George Read next year I would recommend finding roommates and suitemates who have similar interests to you. That way you can have some friends to start the year off with.

I lived at George Read Hall my freshman year of college where I shared a room with two other girls and we shared a bathroom with three other girls. It was a bit tight but doable and I would recommend someone to live there.

George read north is the best dorm at the university of delaware, you have A.C., a bathroom with a shower in it, and multiple common areas. Also there is a kitchen and laundry room service in George read north. The dining hall and local pod are only a few steps away.

George Read Hall was my freshman year dorm. I stayed in a suite style room with two other roommates. Overall, the building was really nice and was cleaned regularly. It was relatively quiet and since it was a building for freshman nursing majors and a few others, it wasn't crowded.

Due to Covid-19, we don't have the same experiences as others, but I believe the school is doing a great job at taking care of the students. They are taking every precaution to keep the students safe.

I thought George Read Hall itself was a really nice place to live, but the room I was placed in was very cramped. I was placed in a triple but there was not enough space for all three of us to have their own personal space.

This was my freshman year dorm which seemed to be one of the nicest dorms on campus. It was a far walk from main campus but the area was beautiful. It was also nice because it was very close to a dining hall and turf.
