Currier hall was a good experience when i found people i liked in my hall. It could have been better but i have no complaints about it. There are definitely better dorms on campus but currier was a good dorm to live in.

This dorm is very old and kinda crusty despite all of the improvements they've done over the years, like adding air conditioning to each room. It is still in desperate need of maintenance and upgrades! The rooms are super small compared to other dorms at Iowa. The only real positive about Currier is its location near classes.

Currier Hall was a great first dorm to live in as a first-year. However, I had problems with the heater and occasional cockroaches. There were also rowdy neighbors on my floor that made it hard to sleep at night.

Currier Hall is one of the oldest residence halls, but you would not be able to tell on the inside. The rooms are rather large and the staff is doing their best to keep everything sanitized, especially due to COVID-19. It is a bit far from classes, but manageable.
