Not a good time. Dorms are tiny and get very hot. overall do not spend time in the dorms. In my freshman year of college, I was assigned to a dorm room that quickly became the center of a bad dorm story. From the moment I stepped foot into the room, it was clear that my roommate and I were not a good match.
The first issue was cleanliness. My roommate seemed to have no regard for basic hygiene or tidiness. Clothes were strewn across the floor, dirty dishes piled up in the sink, and a foul odor hung in the air. Despite my attempts to address the situation, it only got worse over time.
Noise was another problem. My roommate had a penchant for hosting late-night parties, blaring music, and inviting friends over without warning. Sleep became a luxury, as the constant disruptions made it nearly impossible to rest or concentrate on my studies.
The dorm itself had its share of issues. The heating system was faulty, leaving us freezing in the winter months. The communal bathrooms were often dirty and overcrowded, leading to long waits and uncomfortable experiences.
To top it all off, the dorm building had inadequate security measures. There were instances of theft and unauthorized individuals gaining access to the building, creating an unsafe environment.
Living in that dorm became a source of stress and frustration, affecting my overall well-being and academic performance. It was a negative experience that I will always remember as a prime example of a bad dorm story.
