Living in a dormitory can be an exciting and rewarding experience. It provides a unique opportunity to meet new people, make lifelong friends, and build a sense of community. Dorms are often designed to facilitate learning and provide a supportive environment for students. They offer easy access to campus resources, such as libraries, computer labs, and study groups. Additionally, dorms can be a great place to explore new interests and hobbies, as well as participate in social events and activities.

The dorm food is absolutely awful, but I like the big closets. I feel like this year the Mojo dining hall is the best. As for the rooms, I like the overall layout. The bathrooms are so dirty. There is always something in the sinks, a lack of soap, hair in all of the showers, and so much more. Overall, I think that South Quad is better than the other dorms by far.

Both my roommate and I adore South Quad. The dining hall is one of the best in all of U of M. We also love how close it is to Central Campus, where all of our main classes are. It's also a great space for people to hang out and relax. The bathrooms can get a bit messy, but overall, we love our time here. Anyone who's considering going to U of M, choose South Quad.

Living in South Quadrangle was a great experience. The dorms were relatively large compared to others on campus and it was very convenient living in a building with a dining hall. Although there was no air conditioning and the fire alarm frequently went off, it was a great experience.

I probably spent around 20 hours a day in my dorm room because of COVID restrictions this year. Also because of COVID, South Quad had no common areas open, and people did not leave their doors open, so I didn't really meet many people living in my hall, let alone my floor. My dorm room was kind of dark, with all furniture being solid wood. West Quad seemed like it had nicer facilities all around. My dorm had no AC, and laundry was always a hassle, as there were only three washers on the floor.

South Quad was a great dorm to live in this year. I met so many new friends that lived in my hallway! The study spaces, such as the 9th floor, for example, are really great because they provide a quiet place to get work done.

My dorm was a good size and in a really great location on campus. It was very social and I really enjoyed studying in the common spaces that were offered. Additionally, the bathrooms and common areas were kept relatively clean.

Although it is a beautiful dorm, it is very quiet and difficult to socialize with others. The dorms in South Quad are probably the largest freshman dorms on campus so itβs important to ask yourself what you value more between your space and comfort or your social life and friendships.
