Residential Commons Dorm Reviews at Missouri S&T

Residential Commons 1 is extremely welcoming and friendly. The staff and RA's are super fun and to be around and they make everyone on their floors feel connected with each other. The hall itself is kept really clean and I never have seen over extensive trash/dirt lying around. To go along with that, Residential Commons 1 is close to the rest of campus which is super nice to have. I would definitely recommend living in Residential Commons 1 if available.

I stayed in Residential Commons my freshman year and I liked it a lot. I lived in the single suites so I lived with three other girls but we each had our own rooms with a shared living room and bathroom. The living room space was HUGE and included a sink, mini fridge, some storage, and some counter space. The bathroom was fairly large with two sinks, minimal shelf space, a pretty small shower, and a bathroom stall. The bedrooms themselves were pretty tiny, but had everything you may need. The closet was pretty spacious too which was nice. The building itself was secure, well kept, and had great amenities like community kitchens on each floor, study rooms on each floor, free laundry, and a computer lab.

I absolutely adore how close it is to everything. It is extremely close to everything and I have never felt unsafe walking by myself around that area. The only complaint I have is the loud thumps that no one ever takes care of. They give me headaches and though people complain, nothing changes.
