Cornerstone Hall Dorm Reviews at UNCW

I lived in Cornerstone Hall during my first year at UNCW. I truly enjoyed living there. The room size itself is great compared to other dorms on campus. The bathrooms were spacious and kept pretty clean. The common areas were nice and never felt too crowded, despite the number of students living there.

Cornerstone Hall was an overall wonderful dormitory. It was close to all of my classes, had great amenities, large rooms and bathrooms as well as very kind staff. My freshman college experience would not have been the same had I not stayed in Cornerstone Hall.

Cornerstone is a great place to live. Although, it is really the people that live there that make the experience great. Everyone is lively and friendly. The only downside is it can get quite noisy outside and in the halls at night.

It was a standard dorm experience. The two-person rooms had just enough space to move around without bumping into your roommate and had an average amount of closet space. The desk chairs were really uncomfortable but the desks were smartly built with a self on the top of them to place things. The bathrooms were average, honestly some of the better ones of the old dorms, it really depended on how clean the people on your floor were. The kitchen is nothing to write home about but the oven is functional and there is an ice machine on the second floor.
