Lawther Hall Dorm Reviews at UNI

Great for living, the bathrooms whether communal or your own are really nice, this dorm is not as good for getting to know more people since it is an upperclassmen dorm and most people have their college friends already.

Lawther Hall feels and looks much nicer than other halls on campus. I appreciate that only returning students are allowed to live in this dorm, and it is very clean and quiet. The building was recently renovated and feels very updated.

Lawther is the first dorm hall I've ever stayed in. All of the RA's are incredibly kind, one even showed me around my first night. Instructions about move out are clear, and there is always someone available for questions. My neighbors always followed the quiet time rules, and were always respectful. The only thing I'd change is the restrictions from COVID. Because of these, people aren't hanging out as much, but there are still fun yard parties and the lounges are great places to sit and watch some shows with your friends.

Lawther is a great dorm to be in for people transitioning from standard dorm living to apartment living. It has characteristics of a typical dorm while also featuring amenities of an apartment, such as a private bathroom and other roommates.
