Noehren Hall Dorm Reviews at UNI

I enjoy my time there, however, I wish on-campus housing was not so expensive. It is a very nice building especially since they remodeled. I like the separated bathrooms because they provide more privacy to their users. It is very nice to have laundry units on every floor.

I lived on the first floor so it wasn't always the quietest but it was still a great experience! I loved the pod-style bathrooms and the more modern remodeling of the hall. It had a very cozy vibe to it and the private study rooms were a big plus. The location was okay; it's next to redeker center which houses a dining hall, a convenience store, and the housing/dining office. However, it was located a bit farther from the class buildings.

Noehren was a great first year community with lots of friendly faces. As an upperclassman it gets less enjoyable, but if noise comforts you, this is the hall for you. The staff was always helpful, kind, and personable. I would 100% live here again if I had a redo of my freshman year.

I have not lived in Noehren yet. However, it is newly remodeled to fit students needs/wants! They have pod style bathrooms, which is very accommodating for my needs. Also, it is close to other halls, allowing all students to have close access to each other.

Overall, I have enjoyed my experience in Noehren Hall. If COVID wasn’t a thing I felt it would’ve been a lot better but for the circumstances it was amazing to be surrounded by such great people! From the amazing bathrooms to the maintenance staff they do an amazing job keeping Noehren spectacular. The only problem I have had with Noehren is it’s location because for my classes I have to walk all the way across campus for each class which is why the location isn’t ideal for me at all.

I love living in Noehren. It is recently renovated with pod-style bathrooms, sinks and mirrors in the dorms, and very nice lounges with study rooms on every floor. It is clean and safe- the elevator requires a key swipe on the ground floor to access the floors.

noehren hall is a great place to live during college years so far in my opinion its fairly quite the staff are absolutely amazing and kind, the common rooms have started many of our group chats which creates many friend opportunities and plenty of people to study with for common classes. all thanks to the communication influenced environment that is Noehren hall.

Love it here! I have met many great people. Convenient location for my classes and proximity to dining hall. Wish we could park closer as the CP lot never seems to be full. Wish room doors had a magnetic system to hold them open when moving stuff in and out, but can be released for safety in case of emergency or fire.

I absolutely love Noehren. All of the rooms, halls, lounge areas, etc are all really nice and maintain cleanliness throughout the day. All of the RA's and office staff in this building are all super friendly and try their best to help with whatever we may need.

I loved living in Noehren hall! Each dorm has it's own sink, which is a huge benefit when the bathrooms are shared with the entire floor. It is attached to the dining hall via skywalk, which is fantastic for the Northern Iowa winters.
