Fitzgerald House is the perfect building for upperclassman who enjoy living with roommates and housemates. It's located on the edge of campus, and in my four years of living in dorms at UPB, I lived in Fitzgerald for three of those years. The Fitzgerald house is one of two main garden sweets that houses up to 6 students at a time. When you walk into the dorm, you are met with a spacious living room and kitchen area that leads to a long hallways where 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms can be found. These residents will have to be independent, as the only cleaning done by maintenance is done in the small lobby outside of the rooms. I loved living in Fitz, it was usually full of upperclassman, so there was little interference from campus police or RA's doing rounds. Everyone in the building would become friends and visit each others rooms, and in all the years of living there I never needed to lock the door. Sound is not an issue, especially if you live on the top floor, and as the campus is small, it is only about a 10 minute walk from the dorm to the sport and fit building. The parking is right outside of the door (though it can get full), and laundry is also not too far away. It is without a doubt the best place to live on the UPB campus if you are looking for the college experience.
