Adams Hall Dorm Reviews at Rhode Island

Honestly I was not expecting much from a freshman dorm. Of course it won't be the most luxurious however it is safe and by far livable. The bathrooms are overall clean and I don't feel grossed out using them. I have built such a nice community within Adams Hall and its really started to feel like a little home to me. I love my room and I think it isn't too cramped. Its close to a lot on campus.

Adams Hall, for being my first dorm hall during my freshman year at URI was definitely a great place to reside especially in comparison to some other halls that were not as good as Adams. For a freshman dorm this Hall was definitely one of the better ones that I saw and I am glad that this was the one I was put in.

My experience at Admas Hall is so far lovely because I'm only a freshman myself. It's a great location to walk to your diner, the Memorial Union, the gyms, and more. It's not a far walk from place to place, as well as for the RA's, they are so friendly you could have as a freshman and a sophomore. If I were an RA, I would want to be in Admas Hall because that's where I stayed for my first year. I'm thinking about staying there for my second year for my college experiences.

During COVID there has not been much of an opportunity to use the dorm building to its potential. The laundry rooms are fine, just expensive. The common rooms are closed off for the moment. The bathrooms are okay for what they are, though the little barrier of privacy in the showers is less than ideal. The location is honestly the best part, being right near the dining hall, close enough to the dumpsters for convenience (but unfortunately the garbage trucks are very loud), & gives the opportunity to see a lot. Everything is only about a five or ten minute walk away.

For my first year at college, I really like living here at Adams Hall! The RA's are so friendly, helpful, and supportive. The students in this building are nice and friendly as well. I like where the building is in the area because I don't need to walk too far from my diner, to my classes, to the quad, the library, etc. The only issue about Adams Hall is that the wi-fi doesn't work very well. It would go on and off a lot. Recently, it has been working really well, so maybe they finally fixed it! Lastly, I like how much space our dorm rooms have. What's nice is, when you look outside the windows, it has a view of somewhat the campus. So far, this is my experience at Adams Hall! :) P.S. I couldn't find a good picture of my building.
