Parkside Apartments Dorm Reviews at USC

While the food at the dining hall could occasionally leave something to be desired, and it’s a trek to most buildings on campus, the complex is right next to the Metro stop and was never excessively noisy. I had a single room with my emotional support animal, and it was very spacious. The janitors, dining hall staff and door crew were always incredibly kind. And the building had a little arcade, with was pretty cool.

I think being at Parkside played a huge role in my first year at college. It provided a nice place where I could come back to after my classes for relaxing, while also providing a nice social environment to collaborate.

I like how quiet Parkside is for us, and the private bathrooms. I have not had many experiences with staff or maintenance, but that's a good thing because that means that we do not have to worry much. The only thing is that because Parkside is a suite style apartment, one has to go out of their way to meet others, compared to the other freshmen dorms, which have a lot more opportunities for socialization.

These are some of the newest dorms on campus and are quite nice (with a great cafeteria). They also have AC which is a really big plus in the warmer months of the year. The downside of Parkside is that it is on a far end of campus, so you usually have to walk a bit to get to class.

The location was a little far from most of my classes. However, it was really close to the dining hall and was usually pretty quiet. There was a lot of transfer and international students in parkside so there isn't that "freshman" craziness. Overall, I'd recommend living at Parkside Apartments!

Parkside is very nice and quiet but far from the main parts of campus. However, it is next to one of the best dining halls on campus, which is most definitely a plus. The actual area was nice and suites were a good way to meet people.

I really loved living there; I thought it was really spacious, quiet, and well-equipped! The apartment was newly renovated. Only downside was no A/C but a strong fan did the trick! Great location in a quiet part of campus, close to many lecture buildings and main quad area. Loved Parkside!

The apartments are new and clean and it is right next to the best dining hall in the school. However, if you have a lot of classes in the center of the campus or the business school, this place is a little far for you to get there.

great community, suites in arts & humanities are much better than the other dorms around campus. super clean and generally great staff. only issue is that it isn't close to central campus so you will likely have a bit of a walk to your classes
