I lived at Horizon Hall for my first semester at USF. It was relatively quiet, and I felt safe. It was conveniently close to the dining hall, and student center, which was nice, but it was further away from classes than other residence halls.

I live in a pretty standard dorm, but I am grateful that my roommates are easy to put up with. The four of us have to share a bathroom, but we are able to manage if we are respectful of each other's schedules. I would certainly recommend the Horizon dorms to students who are entering the University of South Florida.

For a college dorm it looks like a hotel, but its super expensive. It is fairly quiet but if you have bad upstair or next door neighbors, you will be able to hear them as the walls are thin and sound seeps through. Bathrooms tend to be fairly clean, although during the pandemic, they're supposed to be cleaned daily(and they're not). Staff is pretty nice as well.

I loved it at Horizon! It was such an amazing experience for being away from home. I just wish the students were more social and the staff were easier to contact but the set up and safety/ cleanliness was always up to date!
