Vandergriff Hall Dorm Reviews at UT Arlington

not a horrible distance from most classes, but considerably far from many classes. Nice rooms and staff, but far from gym if you're looking to work out. One positive is that it's attached to parking garages, and you have access to the hall from the garage directly.

Vandergriff hall is very spacious and clean. Out of all the options for freshmen to dorm this would be the best option. The best part about it is that each student is given a key card specific to them to access the dorms. This aspect makes it feel very safe and secured.

The rooms are much bigger than other colleges' and each room has its own bathroom, so you only share with 1-2 other people. All of the ameneties are free for enrolled students. Each hall has its own laundary room for free use, so no need for the quarters. Vandergriff is right in the middle of campus so it is easy to get around everywhere. I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you're looking for a place to stay on campus, but I will say most halls are relatively the same to this one, in a good way.

Overall, Vandergriff Hall was pretty clean. It is one of the newest housing place at UTA, so it was expected. The room is really good and the location is pretty good. It is right next to Panera. However, the dorm does smell weird at times.

Vandergriff Hall is a newer building on campus and is a wonderful place to live. It almost feels like you are staying in a hotel. You're located next to all the food places on campus, which is super convenient! The biggest downside is the walk to the other side of campus, especially if you're an athletic student and want to use the gym facilities. Overall, the building feels very safe and well kept.

It is a very nice building and the RA's are very nice. The common areas are cool and nice for hanging with friends or studying. The rooms are not very big but big enough for you to have your own space, especially when living with a roommate.

I was a resident at Vandergriff Hall for the Fall 2018 semester and I had a great experience living there. My dorm had plenty of space since I was the only one living there. I had a good place for studying and I had a place for my mini-fridge and microwave. I never experienced any loud noises. My only complaint would be they should have a better system for students who are late on payments for their dorm. I was only given a notice once and I was not offered any other plans to alter my payment methods before being kicked out. I would change and improve their communications with their students.

I like the dorm it’s very new and modern. I have a cool roommate also. I like the school and living space a lot. The university has a lot to offer and is really diverse. There is lots of on campus apartments which I may consider in my second year but for now I am good.

Staying at the dorms has been a great experience for me as a college freshman and have enjoyed the view over my campus and gives you a city vibe with our dorms being over food restaurants as well as has the bookstore and college park center nearby.
