The Green on Campus Drive Dorm Reviews at UVU

My experience at The Green has been amazing! The pricing is a little difficult for me since I have 4 roommates and the price seems unfair, but I do understand in the current economic climate. I love how nice the apartments are and the parking situation is so amazing! I love the green and feel so at home there!

I absolutely loved being so close to campus while living at the Green. It made it easy walking to classes without having to rely on using a car- especially in the winter! I recommend it to any student that is in it to a fun and safe environment to live in.

The Green does nos care for their students. There is often running and screaming in the halls at all hours of night with no consequence. There is always nasty substances in the halls including feces and vomit, as well as dog urine in the elevators. Spills take months to clean up and no motivation is shown to cleanliness in the Green.

I have been living here for a couple of months now and it has been one of my best experiences in life! I have met some of my closest friends in here and we often go to the shared areas which are great.

I like it a lot, you can just tell that it is new and everything is still getting set up and such. Not only with the amenities not being open, but with other things as well. Overall I really like the place though.

Because The Green is right off of Campus Drive, the traffic noise is fairly high. This year they’re still building the complex so construction noise is strong too. None of the amenities have been open in the first two months of residency. The building is nice and the units are beautiful. However, the layouts are strange and the furniture doesn’t quite fit anywhere perfectly. The most affordable room, which costs $589 a month with utilities, has basically one layout option because of the weird wall structure. In order for my key to work on the outside doors, I had to complete a parking pass application; I don’t have a car so I never got this access, and though the doors to the stairs are almost always open, I was locked out at 12:30 AM after an ER visit for a leg injury and had to call my roommates to open the door near the elevator. Moving in was chaotic because no one was required to wear masks even though the building has 5 floors and people were crammed into elevators. We also had a checklist asking to confirm we received items that weren’t even distributed yet like mail keys. Overall, it’ll probably be a decent place to live next year, but I won’t renew my contract. Living close to campus is wonderful but not this worthwhile.
