Angell Hall Dorm Reviews at UW-La Crosse

Angell Hall was small, dingy and outdated. My particular room had a broken heater which took quite some time to fix. The washer/dryer was always good. I felt safe. Angell Hall was very near the cafeteria which was nice.

My freshman year experience living in Angell Hall was memorable experience to say the least. Everyone in the dorms were very social and welcoming and they frequently held social events to increase resident participation.

I enjoyed how Angell Hall had separate cubes for males and females. I felt much more safe, secure, and better privacy with having the genders separated. I was in the C cube and really enjoyed it because I was right next to one of the common areas.

I had many good experiences at Angell Hall. However, it was a lot harder with COVID than I would guess a normal year would be. With my great RA, I was still able to make a lot of friends and have a lot of fun my freshmen year.

I liked living in Angell because it was the closest dorm hall to the Whittney dining center. It was also close to a lot of other dorms so it was easy to see my friends. There was also a pool table in the basement that I liked to use.

I loved living at Angell Hall! The cube style hall was a great experience for me and it was a great location for me to live on campus. It is the first dorm that I recommend to all incoming freshmen coming to campus!

It's very interesting to be living in this dorm hall. It is my first time living in one so it's cool to see so many different people from all around and making new friends with some of them. It can be loud, that's for sure, but I feel like most/every hall has some noise complaints. It's a simple place though and comfortable to live in. Makes dorm living not too bad, just covid causes a lot of things to be shut down and enforces a lot of safety rules.

I really liked the location of Angell Hall since it was super close to the dining hall, close to the REC, and relatively close to the main academic building. The staff at Angell was always very nice and helpful whenever there was an issue. I could go to my RA whenever there was a problem and she was always able to help.
