Drake Hall Dorm Reviews at UW-La Crosse

Personally, I love the location of Drake. It's by the main dining hall and close to the main buildings around campus. The common spaces are super helpful, have lots of seating and are nice to study in, watch tv, play cards, etc. Overall, Drake stays pretty clean in the common areas and within the bathrooms which is really nice. Everyone is pretty considerate of the noise level during night or the early mornings so that's nice!

Drake Hall was a perfect location on campus. It was a little bit older building so there were some things I think could have been fixed up and remodeled a little bit, but it served its purpose for my freshman year.

Overall, Drake was clean most of the time, and was usually pretty quiet when it needed to be. It was in a perfect location to get to all the places I needed to get in a timely manner. I had a great experience in Drake Hall.

While I was only there a short while due to Covid, I can say that living there was fantastic. The dorm is organized in cubes, with girls and boys living on different ends. This is nice because all of the girls in my cube ended up being as close to a family as you can get. Overall, I loved this dorm and loved the experience.

Drake Hall was the most convenient location for dorms for me. At first, I was disappointed that I was not assigned to the "all freshmen" dorm but everything happens for a reason. I was walking distance to the recreational facility and the dining hall.
