Johnson Hall Dorm Reviews at UW-River Falls

This dorm is one of the furthest away from all of the other academic buildings, I recommend having a bike. Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner. Johnson Hall has the best basement and couches and has a movie room. If you are Queer the 1st floor is gender inclusive so the bathrooms and hall is co-ed. Unfortunately the kitchen for the first floor is downstairs. A fan is required in all River Falls dorm halls.

Hall was well kept and fully functionable. Could be loud at times but was typically at a workable volume in your room. RA's were awesome and there were hall activities at least once a month for everyone to participate in and friends were always welcome

I did enjoy my experience there for the most part. I felt as though having boys and girls in the same dorm can be distracting in some ways. But I made the best of friends. I still talk with one girl I met there but I wouldn't recommend a dorm to anyone.

I stay in the Gender Inclusive Community of Johnson Hall. The people who live there are friendly, and I feel safe in the dorms. However, the doors are rather thin, and I often end up hearing conversations taking place outside my door, even when they are quiet. I can even hear the people across the hall from me with both of our doors closed! It makes me worried that my important conversations are not entirely private, even when i'm in my own room. Otherwise, living in Johnson Hall is perfectly adequate.
