Blakemore House Dorm Reviews at Vanderbilt

The only bad thing is that it's too far from the main campus. I'm in a triple and the bathroom is not in the room and it requires access on the phone. It's really inconvenient for someone who get up during the night like me.

I just moved into Blakemore and will be here for the year. So far it has been great for a dorm, very spacious and many students have a personal half or full bath attached to their room. Sometimes the AC doesn't work but that'll become less necessary as the seasons change.

Not having to share a bathroom with the whole floor was a massive blessing. I was lucky enough to move in after they renovated the ventilation system, so mold was no longer an issue. My RA was great and super accessible. Miss Linda, at the front desk, is a saint.
