Lee Hall Dorm Reviews at VA Tech

I lived in Lee Hall (now known as Hoge Hall) for 2 years. In my first year, I found that I genuinely enjoyed living there. The hallways and bathrooms were clean Monday-Thursday, and EXTREMELY dirty Friday-Sunday due to the cleaning schedule established. The live-in resident helpers were of no help and only caused trouble when problems were brought to them. The RAs took their jobs seriously. One complaint is that Lee Hall has a lot of fire drills at weird times (like 2 am).

Due to the living-learning communities, Lee Hall is relatively quiet and has an academic vibe. Floors are separated by gender and therefore not as noisy and fun as other dorms on campus. I would recommend other dorms on campus to get the traditional college feel.

I was in a living-learning community there. It was okay except for the communal bathrooms. It's now called Hoge Hall. Each floor is co-ed, with girls on the half with the girl's bathroom, and boys on the half with the boy's bathroom.
