Harborview Hall Dorm Reviews at Wagner

To be completely honest, harborview hall is nothing like I expected, but it's a lot better than most. The building has the most floors on campus, which means that you will be encountering a lot of people who came from every corner of the earth, most are nice others are no so nice, but the dorming experiences itself is quite lovely if you have a great roommate like I do

Overall, it is a freshman building so I did expect everything that I had experienced. I had really noisy neighbors who were not considerate about a lot of the people on the floor, but overall it was a good first year dorm.

Harborview is an all freshmen dorm, but not as nice as the upperclassmen dorms. The rooms are small, but they give you a decent size closet, a desk, a bed and a dresser. There is no overhead lighting so you have to bring a lamp.

My experience was overall good. I felt very safe in the dorms and the staff were very helpful. There were frequent occurrences where the elevators were broken though that seems to have been mostly on account of students' misuse of them. There are themed floors available, such as an honors floor, gender inclusive living, theatre performance, etc. which are very nice and allow for community building.

It's awesome. Definitely feels like home, very comfortable, quiet yet fun, and lots of amazing views facing Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty on the bay. Great food, amazing bathrooms, and spacious dorms that aren't jam-packed like most college dorms.
