Madrona Hall Dorm Reviews at University of Washington

I feel as if this dorm is great for folks who love being at the centre of activities. It's location is super accessible for all who want to have close proximity to greek-row--if that is your thing--dining options, Recreational centres, and events on campus. This part of campus is great for those who are really social, want to become more social, or love the traditional college campus vibes as opposed to west campus.

It is only the start of the school year but my impression of Madrona Hall is already great. Unlike some of the surrounding dorms, Mardona is relatively quite inside and out (you won't hear partying from nearby sororities/frats), however it's also true that none of the walls have soundproofing. Personally, as someone studying Engineering, Madrona is also a bit farther from my classes but it's not a big issue especially since I find it much safer than walking to and from west campus. BTW the staff presence isn't super strong, but the RAs are there when you need them.

My experience at Madrona Hall was very nice. Like any of the Halls at UW, the only problem I had was with how small my private bath was as well as how hot the dorms are since there is no AC unit. Other than those two problems Madrona Hall is an awesome dorm for undergrads! everyone is kind and very welcoming.

My time at Madrona has been very pleasant. As a freshman, it's the perfect transition into college life. The kind staff, clean hallways, and helpful amenities allow this student to right feel at home.

The stay i would have to say is that it was good. all around it was good . nothing was off but it was good. not too right but not to off just good. when you first walk in you can see that it will just be good enough to stay in.

This is a very well hall for everyone nay things is perfect and awesome I will recommend it for everyone it has best security,clean,no noise,best location etc im very happy from it and enjoy very well so thanks for this

Madrona is a large dorm with lots of people. Each dorm has its own bathroom, which is really nice. There is a bike storage unit attached to the building, which is also very nice. In terms of location, Madrona is on the north end of campus which is a walk away from the ave (a shopping center near UW) and a walk away from Uvillage (another shopping center near UW), but both are fairly close, and the dorm is close to the Burke Gilman Trail, which is nice for bike rides. Unfortunately, the walls are rather thin, but I'd say that's the case with most dorm buildings.
