Centennial Hall Dorm Reviews at WestConn

I love having the opportunity to live away from home. Yet the bills and money it takes make the experience less enjoyable. I do love the freedom of making my own schedule and being on my own time outside of school and work. I am a very social butterfly so I grow in these forms of living.

Centennial Hall is a good place to live if you like quiet, relaxing, and sometimes busy vibes. The apartments are bigger than Grasso, but a bit smaller than Pinney. Expect fire alarms to go off pretty often, but it ends up being funny more than annoying most of the time. Staff is friendly and fun if you follow the rules. The walk up to the classroom building and campus center can be a pain sometimes though, but a good workout! Also, during rush hours, I recommend walking to the other shuttle stops if you want to find a seat on the shuttle. Since centennial is the last stop before the shuttle goes down the hill, the seats might already be filled by the time it stops in front of cent.

Centennial Hall is mostly for the athletes that need to move onto campus early. Thus, it is right across from the fields at the bottom of the hill. This means that any time you need to go to class or get food from the campus center, you have to walk up on an incline to get there. Furthermore, Centennial is the last building the shuttle stops at before making its way to the other campus, which means that the shuttle may be packed by the time it reaches you. Therefore, I recommend walking to another hall's shuttle stop to get on with the rest of the rush 'wave'. Overall, though, it's cleaner than the other buildings I've been to and the people are fun!
