Albright-Benton Hall Dorm Reviews at Western Carolina

Benton was an awesome dorm especially for it being one of the cheaper ones on campus. The rooms were quite spacious and it was nice to have enough room and not be right on top of my roommate. It stayed clean always and it wan't a far walk to classes which was definitely nice.

My experience in Albright has varies day to day but overall I am happy with Albright being my dorm. The communal bathroom is the biggest downside but it could be a lot worse and there’s a lot of good fun people to make it amazing experience.

There is no A/C in Albright-Benton Hall. In the summer it can get quite warm in the dorm, this does encourage you to get out of your room. There is heat for the winter, and it was a good temperature. There are no private bathrooms. There are two public restrooms at each end of each floor. The showers are communal, but there is plenty of privacy.

Benton was exactly what I expected from a college dorm. It was loud and chaotic, the bathrooms were communal and often messy. There is no air conditioning and the heating for the building is less than desirable. overall living in Benton was stressful but Benton is the cheapest dorm on campus.

Benton is one of the better dorms at Western. Other than sharing a bathroom with the hall my experience was decent. The RAs are helpful and polite and you are able to meet a lot more people by living in close quarters.
