Anderson is definitely a social dorm. The halls tend to be really fun and lively with lots of fun events. The bathrooms though, are not ideal. the showers are just separated by curtains with no hooks, only benches to put towels. more

Layman House

Lyman is great! It's not accessible though, and the heating is building wide and sometimes spotty, which isn't the best. However, the culture is great, with bluegrass nights every week, movies frequently playing in the main lounge, and a fantastic new kitchen. more

I have a wonderful time my freshman year. Even thought I was away for sports a lot of the actives didn't conflict. My junior year was awful no actives unless it was tech games. I didn't sit too much and talk to other student because there was nothing offered to do. more

Douglas Hall

I personally enjoyed living at douglas a lot. I thought the rooms were off good size. The only complaint was that it did not contain modular furniture in most of the rooms, so your layout options were extremely limited. You could not even have the beds not bunked without the room looking cramped, due to not being able to move the five foot length desk attached to the wall. In addition, the bathrooms seemed updated and were kept clean more

Lyman House

That dorm is killer, nicest freshie dorm fs, physically anyways. Brand new kitchen divided doubles, and it's literally attached to Jewett cafe without you actually having to live in Jewett. Pretty good location as well for stem kids and people who like going to the library or frats. more

Jewett Hall

While one side of Jewett faces Isaacs avenue and some frat houses (which make the noise level a little annoying), for the most part, the dorm is fairly quiet, well organized, and overall a nice dorm experience. Half of the rooms face Ankinee field, and watching the sunset from the common room is really relaxing! more
