It's been nice being in the dorms here. My only issue I have with this place is the amount of times you can hear people in the hallways in the afternoon or mornings. Though it's still quite nice here.

my overall experience of shocker hall has been OK it can get loud at times but overall OK and can be a bit of an inconvenience especially how slow maintenance moves but what make shocker hall the best is the people 100%

Nice dorm place if you want to be at the heart of all classes, activities, and more. Everything is within a fair walking distance. Your dorms will well cleaned, bur the bed are hard to sleep on so bring a mattress pad!!!

Shocker Hall is very convenient as an incoming freshman because you're right by everything. The RSC is a very short walk away as well as most buildings that your classes will be held in. There are no communal bathrooms and I like that the most. The only thing that sucks is that there are twin beds and they're uncomfortable without a mattress topper/pad.

As a young woman beginning her college career, safety was very important to me. I felt safe in Shocker Hall because of the building security as well as the people who lived there. I also felt very at home, the rooms were spacious and allowed for a lot of customization to be done. Want to walk around the halls in your socks and blanket? Do it! Guaranteed you'll make some new friends. I absolutely loved my time in Shocker Hall and made some life long friends just by living down the hall from them.

Shocker Hall is a very nice dorm for your freshman year as it not that old, and the rooms are pretty serviceable. The only gripes I really had were with laundry and maintenance. I'm not sure why a building this new has many problems, but that's just dorms for you.

I am a first-year freshman, and my residency is at Shocker hall. I personally love the location, it's right in the middle of campus, easy access from the main road, etc. I also love going around my hall and meeting new people. Overall, I would rate my experience at Shocker Hall an eight out of ten. Sometimes, it gets loud in the hallway if a crowd of people are going by, or if the people who reside above you are active. For example, there's a group of boys who live above me and are always wrestling with each other and it gets loud. Reporting a noise complaint got rid of the problem as well. The RA's here do a good job of controlling things, but also do a good job allowing for fun.

Shocker Hall is a newly done, clean environment. The rooms are spacious with decent storage. The RA's are very friendly and helpful, as well as there are many different activities to help you get involved. The whole time I was there the rules were communicated well, I felt safe in my environment.

In the time I was living in this residence hall, I actually really enjoyed myself. You're able to customize your side of the room effectively, and the wall in the middle of the shared rooms actually provide a lot of privacy. The dorm food has its off days, but the options you're given every single day for every meal keeps things really fresh. People did have parties on occasion, but most people I knew weren't partiers. The RA's were also very kind/helpful and put in actual effort into having relationships if you wanted. They were good about setting up social events on our floors as well. The best part in my opinion was that we never had to worry about communal bathrooms, like other residence halls have. In the cheapest rooms you only have to share with three people.

I have enjoyed living in Shocker Hall. One thing I love about it is how much space I have. I live on the 5th floor so my view of campus is amazing. I like the privacy of the bathrooms. The common areas are always kept clean, especially with Covid-19. The staff is always inviting as well. It is located right in the middle of campus which is good because I don't have to walk a mile to get to my classes. So far Shocker Hall has been a good home away from home!

I think that Shocker Hall is the best decision for incoming freshman because it is located near the freshman class buildings. The dorms are very spacious along with the bathrooms. If you live in Shocker Hall you will definitely have plenty of room even if you have multiple roommates.

Shocker Hall is not only a great place to live, but also a safe place to live. It has good sized dorms for all and a is in an okay location. It would be better if it was not by a cemetery, but since all of the dorms are only 5 years old I'll forgive them.

I have had a positive experience with Shocker Hall. The rooms are the biggest dorm rooms that I have been in. Four people share each bathroom. Shocker Hall is in the center of campus so it is a short walk to most of your classes and the dining hall. The halls are mostly kept clean as well as common areas. The noise is not a problem unless people are right outside your window outside at night or have a person who is loud above you. The campus has buttons that you can push if you are concerned with safety. Most of the staff that I have met are kind. Maintenance can take some time to fix your request.

Shocker Hall has been amazing. I have my own room with a shared bathroom with one other person. It has been quiet and fun. I feel beyond safe in Shocker Hall and have made some friends on my floor and in my classes.

My experience at Shocker Hall was Amazing. I lived on the Fourth Floor, Which is right under the floor that all the athletes lived in , it wasn't noisy. It right in the middle of campus so my classes wasn't to far, as well as the dining hall was right across the resident hall. My RA was nice and very helpful for my first year of college

As expected in a dorm, people get loud. I definitely recommend living on campus your first year, but I would never live on campus again. At WSU, the cost of living on campus is double or triple what you would pay to live off campus. I live a minute away from campus and pay less than half what i wouldβve if I stayed on campus. Also, during the pandemic we were all kicked out within seconds, whereas living off campus they canβt force you to leave.
