Currently, my experience has been good. My floor is relatively quiet and the people on the floor usually keep to themselves. Our bathrooms are cleaned pretty much every week. The dorms are usually cool, while the halls are usually warmer. more

Minton Hall

The location is fantastic and I appreciate the private bathroom. The dorm is very old which is noticeable with some mold but overall it isn't bad. Great first year dorm and has easy access to the rest of campus. more

Northeast Hall

The building would loose hot water every year in December, the windows in the bathroom were see through even with a frosted film, one of the air units leaked into my dorm one weekend and almost damaged my laptop and the bathroom door lock would jam making the bathroom unusable for hours. more

I've lived here since December 2019, I had to move out of my first place last second because of complications with former roommates. The Tradition happily welcomed me and found me a room with a compatible roommate. However my bike was stolen and they couldn't/wouldn't use their security cameras to help me. more

Douglas Keen Hall

Douglas Keen is a under kept dormitory. It has mold and the temperature varies along with unclean bathrooms. I would never recommend anyone to live there. The faculty are also not the most pleasant. There are much better places to live on campus more

My experience so far has been wonderful. The staff are all so nice and welcoming. University Trails also has a ton of resident events, and Taco Tuesday is a must! The pool, two volleyball courts, and full basketball court is a huge plus too! more

Meredith Hall

I have had a good experience at Merideth thus far into the school year. It does not have any AC, but it is a bonding experience because it helps you make friends in the dorms because everyone's doors are open. Although the building is old and it's hard to find your away around because of its unique x shape, overall, it is well priced for freshman year housing at Purdue. more

Southwest Hall

My experience with southwest residency hall has been a 50-50. The staff are really nice and are always willing to help the students, even over small issues. My biggest ick/problem with the dorms in SWRH as that the bathroom and shower have no vent fan. The flush in the toilet is also notoriously loud, and wakes up my roommates and I from our sleep-even if the person from the dorm across us is using the bathroom at night. On the positive side, the size of the dorm is generous for one person (individual room), and the lobby of the dorm is big enough to fit in 6 people which is double the intended capacity. more

The people who work there should know the residence of the dorm. I lived there for two years and I would get in trouble if I did not show my ID. Even if the person working at the front desk, talked with me numerous times and knew my name. more

I met my roommate at Gilbert and now she is a bridesmaid in my wedding. The activities like taco Tuesday were super exciting and I met so many amazing girls in the dorm. i have been in Gilbert for two exciting years and the location is close enough to my college, I can walk to any class. more

Hugh Poland Hall

It is not the best form to stay in on campus but you will feel a lot less displaced than in others. There are some cleanliness concerns especially on the weekends when the janitors are off. I also heard that there was mold in the building but other than that, it’s not a bad place to live. more

Rodes Harlin Hall is located in a convenient area, but in 2019 and 2020 when I was a resident, it had the presence of cockroaches and was pretty dirty due to students not taking care of the building properly. more

Bates Runner Hall

Something always had problems. Bathrooms are very small. The rooms had bug and mold problems. Heat and A/C never worked when and like they were supposed to. Most RAs were friendly. No elevator and you are not notified before you select it as your dorm. more

I love the Kentucky Street Apartments. I didn't understand my peers' urgency and hype about them at first, but I applied and got in and I TOTALLY get it now. I have an awesome kitchen, my own bathroom, I'm close to parking, and it's worth the extra fees to get these things. It's great. more

I had an overall Good experience while I was there. The visiting hours where convenient and its close to a food place and market. Almost all of my friends and people I met through my classes all lived close by so it helped when I needed help in class. more
