Boreman Hall Dorm Reviews at West Virginia

Living in any dorm is what you make of it, in Boreman Hall the location is something you simply cannot beat. Scratch the no air conditioning or the fact it is outdated, it’s a dorm, that’s the character of college living. Living in Boreman Hall everything is a close walk away from friends, downtown and classes.

Boreman was a great place to live. It was located right in the middle of downtown campus, and it doesn't get better than that. The rooms were pretty big in comparison to some other dorms, and whole closets and built-in shelves were great. The bathrooms were roomy and decently clean. They were maintained seemingly daily. It's also an all girls building, which made it a peaceful and safe place to live. There was some noise from High St, but only on weekends.

Living in Boreman Hall was not a terrible experience, but I do believe it is not the best option. Boreman South is the better option or even a nicer dorm in general. Boreman North community bathrooms are gross and the building is old and dusty.

Boreman North is on the down town campus and near a lot of classes and the cafeteria. It is, however, also close to Frat Row so weekend nights can be a little loud. Staff is increadably nice and helpful.

Everyone is very nice. The RA's are friendly and helpful. Only issue is that there was a problem with the fire alarms so they woke us up a few nights in a row in the middle of the night but the issue was resolved. There is also no AC so the beginning of the semester wasn't amazing in there but you have quick access to the mountain lair, downtown morgantown and frat row. You are also pretty close to CVS and other restaurants if you get tired of the food court.
