Taylor Place Dorm Reviews at ASU

So far it’s been ok the dining staff are really nice like incredibly cool and kind but then you get to the CAs and it gets iffy. From my experience so far all of the girl CAs have been rude but the guys have been chill.

The dorms are very quiet. There is not too much disturbance or noise on the floors. The laundry rooms are very accessible there is one on each floor each tower. Various group and organizations always put on lots of events.

I love staying at Taylor place, aside from the long elevator lines everything stays clean. Unfortunanty the only access to stairs is on the way down creating long elevator lines. However the food around and in the downstairs kitchen is good. I love how there are options to stay in a single room or room with a roomate.

It is really nice overall, its within a beautiful community. Very friendly and really nice people. The door rooms are spacious depending on the way you move the furniture around. People are really friendly and respectful.

living at Taylor place was such an amazing experience, aside from having the loudest neighbors ever, I had a great time. It was my first time living in a dorm and this dorms were the best place to start. The two main complaints is safety - U will never catch me walking at night by myself and noise

My freshman year in the dorms during covid was really hard because of the distancing between roommates. However, my RA's and CA's made it really fun and were really good communicators. The wifi did kind of suck lol my friends would always tease me about it back home. The food was pretty good and even though there weren't a lot of vegan options, I still found quite a bit of luck.

The general dorm was amazing, especially if you managed to get a dorm to yourself then it was perfect. There were enough room and space to get by and plenty of places to study. Sometimes access to the elevators was difficult but there are stairs stationed at four different areas for everyone to get to. The RAs were super sweet and the common areas were great places for students to be comfortable and chat with one another. The dining hall was also spacious with inside and outside options that allowed for everyone to relax.

Overall it was a great experience! I wish they had healthier options in the dinning hall. It probably has gotten better since I left. I liked the living in the suite with two bedrooms, it also had a small living room.

Staying at the Taylor Place is perfect for first year students since it is located in the center between other buildings that classes will take place in. The walking distance is very immaculate and offers short distance walking to restaurants along with other downtown asu activities.

I stayed in the dorms my fist year and overall had a good experience. The bathroom were very small. But the building was always clean and never too noisy sometimes the next door would be playing music loud late at night.

Taylor Place let me have peace of mind knowing I was safe and could always find help if I needed to. I made friends there that I kept even after I left the dorms. It was the perfect way to start my college career.

I really enjoyed my time there. It was a very welcoming environment for students. Students are placed on floors according to their major which is very helpful in connecting with classmates and study groups.

My experience living at Taylor Place was fairly good. While living at Taylor Place, I was forced to take on more responsibility as a student and young adult. However, I think the experience I have at Taylor Place is limited because of the restrictions that were put into place because of the pandemic.

My experience at Taylor place has been great so far. All of the staff is super nice, the dining hall is open all the time for when I am tired of frozen meals or cup of noodles. The rooms are spacious and have there own bathrooms and sinks in each room.

My experience at Taylor place 1 was not the best but yet, not the best. Our bathrooms were fine but the showers were really small. When it comes to having hot water, we didn't have the best hot water even if you were the first person to shower. The water system was also just bad overall, because it made my hair and body super dry to a point where I started developing eczema on my legs.

It's the best it could be given the circumstance of the whole pandemic is what I would say to describe my experience. Overall, given the opportunity to stay at the dorms is a blessing. Having the chance to feel the, "college life" is something I will never forget. ASU did a great job trying to keep Taylor Place safe and clean.

It has honestly been a great learning experience here at Taylor Place. It's barely my first semester and I really enjoyed being here. Everything was close by, you really learn how to become more independent and have that freedom.

My experience at Taylor Place has been quite different compared to other's past years' experiences due to the global pandemic occurring. I have had more of a lonely experience since I have no roommate and no guests are allowed due to health and safety regulations. Most restaurants are closed for dining so there is not much to do in the area. Although, if this pandemic was nonexistent, my experience would probably have been a better one. Overall, Taylor place has a nice community with mostly friendly staff and a clean area, however, I do find the room and shower to be a bit smaller than anticipated.

It has been a great experience so far! I do like what it has to offer and I’m glad they have a kitchen since I’m far from home so I can cook if I feel home sick. I like the cafeteria and dining options. The living space is great and feels like my own. I like how you can customize it and they offer a lot of activities and events to do. It’s quiet, and peaceful so you won’t be miserable trying to do homework or study. The common place is nice and you can even meet new people. Although typically some people may just buy their own TVs because the one tv in the common space is for everyone, but once at a time. Overall, it’s well kept and a nice place to live.

Overall I had a very good experience at Taylor Place. Compared to many other dorms I have seen at ASU, TP is very nice. Everything is frequently cleaned, the amenities (bathroom, laundry, etc) all work well and are clean, and anything broken is quickly fixed after one phone call. The dorm is centrally located on campus, so all classes are less than a 15min walk away, and the room comes with some basic furniture (a bedframe, nightstand dresser, another dresser, desk, and a chair).
