Richmond Quadrangle Dorm Reviews at UB

The dorms are a nice size and the walls/doors are thick enough that, even when our neighbors are blasting music with their door open, as long as we close our door, we don't hear the music. The windows are large and let in lots of light, and the view of the trees in the kitchen (which has a microwave as well as a functioning oven/stove, so you can cook real food) is really pretty. There's no AC, so the end of summer heat when moving in was killer, but there's heat, and it gets comfortably warm in the winter. The bathroom is kept clean, though it is small. The common areas, as well as the fact that it's connected to other areas that have restaurants/vending machines/more study spaces/the mail room, is super convenient. The laundry room is also decently sized, has nice chairs and tables, and is very rarely packed. The dorm is also right across the street from the best dining hall on campus, which is super convenient.

I loved it there. Kind of sad to have moved out but excited to not hear my neighbors being loud all of the time. The bathrooms were fine except for this one girl who wouldn't get rid of her hairballs from the shower drain.

Overall a decent dorm, however the costs of living here are really causing me to struggle. I always thought I was going to be able to live at home during school but then my parents ended up moving an hour away. I think the dorm is pretty okay, but it is definitely way too expensive for struggling college students who cannot live at home

It was nice since I was living in a single dorm where I had my own space and the roomates were respectful. At times, there will be like trash on floor on weekends but the staff are very nice to clean up very well for the students.

I would say it has been pretty nice living here. The building is near food places which comes in handy. The staff is very nice and helpful. I would live in this building again but sadly it is only for freshman.

The building is right across from a dining hall which is a plus but it seems the fire alarms are always going off at odd hours of the night. My entrance of Richmond 3 is relatively close to food and the bus stop so I never have to be outside in the snow for very long. However, the sidewalks are rarely salted or cleared of snow nor are the roads. It seems Buffalo just leaves the snow to melt on its own accord. Overall, I've made friends with my RA and people on my floor. It's a nice community to live in and be apart of.

The experience living in Richmond Quadrangle is very nice as the RA and the AA are very caring and helpful along with that they try to make you feel as welcome as possible even with what is happening in the world today.

In my opinion this lounge is a chill lounge with occasional loud music but good people. Could use some more people who clean up after themselves but it is a good lounge. The residents here are nice and they do not seem to cause problems, plus at times they help each other with homework.
