Kalsbeek-Huizenga-van-Reken Hall Dorm Reviews at Calvin

KHVR is the furthest distance from everything except your car. Depending on your situation in the winter this could be great or terrible. It is often very quiet if you need to hit the books but will not be the most social dorm. I had a good experience, but ended up moving to a SE my sophomore year.

It's very far from classes which was a pain during the winter. However, the room I stayed in was on the top floor and I got a lot of space, which was awesome. but it has good spacing and facilities. The campus safety staff is always friendly and willing to help you at any time. The community, during my freshman year, was wild and fun but I like how you were able to meet your friend at any time.

We take a lot of pride in our dorm. It is where the honors and collegiate students live. It's in the back of the campus, but we have a very convenient parking lot and entrance to/from the northside of campus.

Very far from everything, but everything depends on who's on your floor because they can make it great. The first floor always has a lot of foot traffic from people wanting to get out of the cold and to their dorm.
