The Arc Dorm Reviews at Columbia

When I first moved into The Arc, there were so many gnats. They stuck around until it got cooler but they were indeed annoying. I like the apartments and the space. It was the perfect size for four strangers, we grew to be the bestest friends. If it want for the arc, I wouldn’t have had such a good friendship. We would have the best time. The proved TVs so we would have our movie nights and listen to music. As loud as we were, nobody complained about the noise so theres good noise cancellation. The elevators were constantly broken and I lived on the 15th floor. Lucky this fall, I got to choose a room on the 5th floor. Yes, Im going back. I would choose The arc over any of the others.

This is the first time staying here and its been great. I think the only issue I really have regarding The Arc and something to consider. It is a really old building so the windows are not properly sealed so I'd think about bringing an electric blanket in the Fall. Other than that the staff and maintenance have been very helpful and the RA's here have been great putting on zoom events.

I got lucky this year because everyone gets their own rooms, but I don't think I would be as happy if I would have had to share the room with another person. The space is meant for four but I think 2 people is perfect. I can't imagine having enough space, especially in the kitchen, if four people lived here
