Heritage Park Towers Dorm Reviews at FAU

My experience at Heritage park towers overall was good. All of the RA’s and front desk people were very helpful. The rooms/bathrooms needed a better cleaning before moving in. Maintenance requests were always processed and handled quickly. The RA’s were always good about keeping kids quiet especially during midterms and finals when everyone needed to study.

It was an overall good experience. It was the closest dorm building to the Breezeway and dining hall. Although it was sometimes loud or messy, it was always fixed pretty quickly. I enjoyed my time there.

Heritage Park Towers is a residence hall that is great for building a community with your neighbors, especially due to the close proximity everyone is from one another. Each floor has a common lounge for studying, game nights, movie nights, or anything in between. Someone is always working the front desk, which is helpful when your neighbors are being too loud when you're trying to sleep, have a building concern, or just have any sort of general question. The maintence staff work to make sure the building works properly, and custodial does daily cleaning of the common areas to keep everything clean. The Resident Assistants work hard to make sure the environment is safe and comfortable for everyone living in the building, and will always be a friendly face to greet you in the building.

I lived in a double room sharing one bathroom. It was an older building and we had a few safety issues inside of the building. Me and my roommates spent a lot of time in the shared spaces doing homework, watching shows and playing games.

I love it here and I am only a freshman, I am just starting my college life and it has been going amazingly since. It feels as if I didn’t leave home but yet I am hours out from home. I extra safe, and more content here than I thought I would.

I lived in Heritage Park Towers as a freshman during COVID, it wasn't the same experience as a lot of my friends got in the past. We weren't allowed to go to other buildings and there were a lot of restrictions. We had no kitchen, no common area. So it was really hard to meet new people.

Heritage Park is a clean and safe building with only a few complaints. Noise control and safety are well managed. The only problems with the building would be minor issues like fire alarms and broken elevators. It would be a much better living place if the building had drive-up access and a parking lot nearby.

I was so nervous about making friends but the school and the dorm made efforts to creating events that would make students more comfortable and gain new friends. Ive also had the greatest experiences ever in a safe environment which is perfect for a new student.

I would say I had a good experience. You can tell the building is older, as there is several marks of the floor caused by the moving of furniture. The bathroom was my least favorite part. When you turn on the light, it also turn on the super loud fan, and none of my suitemates and I actually used the light because of this. Instead we just had string lights hanging in the bathroom that we kept up all the time. The toilet flushed so loud as well, which was just annoying. We also had an issue where when we flushed it it wouldn't stop flushing for about 20 minutes. Maintenance was wonderful and came and fixed it as soon as we reported it. Any time we had an issue maintenance would be there so quick to fix the issue. The janitors that take care of the building were also super sweet. They did really well keeping the building clean, and they were also really nice. Always accommodating to what you needed. The building itself it not too far from the dinning hall, and is right next to the Starbucks and the Breezeway. It was nice to not have to walk too far to get to everything.

Coming into FAU as a freshman I was hopeful my dorm would be close to the life of campus and I would not have to hike everywhere I went. I was overly relieved and satisfied that HTP is close to everything and truly in the middle of the liveliness of campus. It is also super safe and clean, I have truly enjoyed my freshman year and HTP is a great reason why.

It’s very quiet considering it’s the closest building to the breezeway, however it’s the furthered from any parking lot so you have to walk, bike, or skate far with groceries. North tower is best we have less maintenance issues on the side compared to the south tower.

I had to stay there since I did not live close enough to campus when I got to college. The first two weeks were alright and after that I just felt like it was so annoying. There is not a parking lot for Heritage Park Towers so it just makes the walk so much farther and moving in was a nightmare since everyone wanted to park next to the building and therre was not an area to. The elevators were constantly in construction, so usually only one elevator worked.

I lived in Heritage Park Towers for three semester and I enjoyed it. Te location of it was nice along with the staff. The students were friendly and the accommodations were amazing. It was a good experience for me since that was my first time living on a College campus and first time being in College.

Heritage Park Towers is overall a very nice dorm. The rooms are big, compared to other dorms at other universities. At heritage you will always know you are safe, you must use your owl card to access the building. There are many freshman living in this dorm, so it is a great place to meet friends. The bathrooms are nice, but the shower water pressure is very low. Heritage is a nice dorm for what you're paying.

I had a massive roommate conflict for the entire spring semester and the staff did not help me at all. My hall was always loud especially during the peak of the night when everyone came back drunk from a night out. Our common area was typically clean and HPT is in the center of campus so that was helpful.

My experience so far at HPT is amazing. I love my space in my room, plus my suitemates. I really like the layout and space sizes. Perfect location right next to classes, and food areas. Can't hear muc

Heritage park towers is a place where you can have cheaper housing than other places on campus. It is not as up to date as the other dorms, but you get what you pay for. The staff is helpful occasionally, but not all issues are always dealt with depending on your RA.

Herritage park towers has average dorms. The size is not very large and the bathrooms are average. I appreciate the window in the dorm room because it helps lighten the room and lift our moods. I also appreciate that the dorm is relatively close to the parking lot
