There are two residence halls. 1 is for first year students and 2 is for others. A third is being built now for upperclassmen. It is relatively quiet and very clean. They have student employees lobbies to help residents.

RH1 is located in downtown Abacoa and is close to the beach. Itβs location is ideal if youβre planning on living in jupiter. However, the building itself is old, the carpet in the hallway smells, there are ants in the walls, the common room furniture is musty, and the bathrooms have stains. The walls have holes. We do our best to clean and make it cozy. However, the building is in desperate need of a makeover. The staff is friendly enough but weβre not allowed to have LED lights (even though we can have grills and pressure cookers in the rooms). Sometimes the housing manager is overbearing but the RAs and cleaning staff are wonderful. The reason we stay here is because of the friends weβve made.

The people at the Honors College Jupiter campus are great! Everyone there is extremely intelligent and school- and work-oriented, but they know how to have fun too. The time I spent and experiences I had were wonderful, and the set up of the dorm situation is ideal. It is right across from a cute little downtown area with the students' favorite coffee shop 2 minutes away walking time. The only complaints I had were safety-based. There were rumors of Dining Hall-related food poisoning at least once a month. I've also attached a picture of the air vent into my bedroom, which was riddled with what looked like mold. I got sick immediately after moving in the beginning of Fall, and wasn't healthy until I moved out at the end of Spring. However, I think they are building a new dorm building because of the problems. If you want to live on-campus, be careful, inspect the space, and ask about the new construction or what they are doing about student health and safety. Choose wisely!
