Joseph-Reynolds Hall Dorm Reviews at Florida Southern

It’s been nice, if you end up living in a room with a wall AC just crank it and the room will get pretty cold. Downside is this hall is not good for people with disabilities, there’s no elevator and very steep stairs, not the safest. STaff has been great and safety is always there. Highly recommend.

I feel like I got one of the best dorms on campus because I have an amazing view of Lake Hollingsworth! Sometimes I can see the clouds' reflection on the lake! The sky is always so gorgeous. I am very thankful that I got such a great room and roommate.

Jospeph-Reynolds Hall was where I met my lifelong college friends. Everyone seems nice including most of the RAs. The floors are very creaky and the place definitely seems haunted. Overall, JR is a good place for college freshman as it includes all the basics and has a great location/views.

There is a great community feel in JR, with rooms closer together on hallways and a big common area at the entrance of the building. My room is small, however, and should definitely be a single room instead of a double.

It is a really lovely building and has a nice old touch. I personally love the feeling of older buildings and this dorm definitely has that. Everything is clean all the time, and the common room is perfect to hang with friends or study. Most of the rooms have their own bathrooms, too which is heavenly.
