University Village Dorm Reviews at Fredonia

University Village was an excellent apartment-style living area at SUNY Fredonia. The complex itself was clean and quiet, which was a nice break from the business of the rest of campus. The staff were very helpful and friendly. However, certain parts of each apartment were liable to break or malfunction at times (washer, drier, water pipes, doors). These were often fixed in a reasonable timeframe, through some issues took longer than average to fix. Also, it is relatively far from the main campus, and while there is a free bus service between main campus and the Village, its operation has been cut, making it more difficult to reach campus without personal transportation. Overall, University Village is a good fit for students looking for apartment style living while remaining on campus, as long as they are able to live with the distance and occasional issues.

It was a nice experience. The dorms were spacious and the kitchen was amazing. I loved the fact that we had our own washer and dryer and only had to share a bathroom with one other person. It was in the back corner of the campus so it was super quite because of lack of activity.
