Good experience , very pleasurable place to live and enjoy your studies. Itβs close to class which is just a short walk from here and hope that next year I will probably live here again. Safe place to live too.

I lived in Clark for two years and loved the hall. I had a great triple with two roomates my first year and we shared our bathroom with another double. My second year I got my own room that was supposed to be a double. The bathrooms are great and the computer lab is handy. The kitchen is not the best but its ok if you arent cooking all of the time.

Kurth has thin walls, but it is quiet. It is one of the cheaper dorms at Southwestern University which is a plus if you are looking to save some money as a first-year student. I would recommend this dorm.

Clark Hall is a fairly nice dorm for first year students on campus. The dorms are usually two to three people in each room depending on population of your enrolled class. It is a regular dorm however the biggest turnoff was the bathrooms. Cleaned only twice a week, and toilets filled to the brim with poop and other fecal matter, I would run to the cafΓ© to use the bathroom instead. Yellow water and showers that were crawling with scum, it was a nightmare to use the bathrooms.

Itβs a quiet dorm, however itβs aged and old. The rooms are missing closet doors, the window screens are bent. The bathroom only has 1 stall for 6 people, which isnβt enough. Clark is made up of pods w/individual entries and no security.

Clark dorms are made for the quieter student who likes to have alone time and does not want more than one other roommate. Clark has a βpod setupβ, meaning there are two or three rooms off the same hallway, and then connects to a bathroom that is shared with one other pod. The rooms are small, it is best to set up your beds in a bunk bed style with your roommate.

The University of Dallas is a small school and Clark fits it well. Clark is one building full of sophomore and junior, females and males. Clark allows students to mingle in the common areas, wash their clothes in the laundry area and also provides each student with their own personal space. Many students enjoy Clark Hall as well as myself because of the individual rooms and bathroom. Students like myself also enjoy the congregating areas. Clark is a nice clean hall for students with different preferences.

Halfway through the year, Kurthβs water heater was broken and so we had to take showers that were burning hot for a month. Also, we had burning hot rooms for a month because the cooling system was also broken. Sometimes there were roaches and it was just gross sometimes

My experience was nice because I had a good relationship with my residence assistant, my roommate and floor-mates. It was also not too far from my classes and we were closest to the football stadium so we always got there earlier than others.
