Geoffroy Hall Dorm Reviews at ISU

Overpriced, needs to crack down more on vandalism. However the staff works hard to engage people, the place is nice, and air conditioning works well. I have to live in a dorm my first year for my scholarship, but will happily be leaving next year for the cheaper on-campus apartments Fredrichson.

Geoffroy Hall was a very new experience in life for me. The building was very very new and all of the people there were as well. It was a great place for a first time experience living in college as you could be as private as you wanted to be living there. The common areas were very very welcoming and there was not only common areas to study in, there were ones to sit back and relax with some friends in. Along with that the building offered hallway common areas which were great if you just wanted to get out and socialize a little with other people. The large common hall of the building was very very nice and hosted many activities for everyone to participate in. If you'd like to have a very social experience at Iowa State, Geoffroy Hall is an excellent place to start.
