Larch Dorm Reviews at ISU

The bathrooms are pretty old and haven't been updated. There was three stalls for my side of the floor and two of the locks were broken. The location is really nice and has AC. Also there is a dining hall and a convince store.

The experience at Larch is so far an enjoyable one. During a pandemic Larch has been very responsible and involved with keeping the students safe and their equipment and facilities clean. Along with friendly neighbors, and great room advisors Larch is one of the better dorms at Iowa State University.

Larch is overall a good dorm for the price you pay. The location is great, and the custodial crew keeps it nice and clean. It's kind of annoying that you have to use a key to get into the bathroom. Great common areas to study, I just wish they had more. Its located very close to a dining hall (seasons)!

I really enjoy dorm life here. Yes, the rooms are a little small, but so is every other dorm usually. I like the layout here better than maple even though it doesn't have a sink in the room because stuff fits in the room easier. Although larch doesn't have a full kitchenette like Maple or other buildings at ISU, the sink in the kitchenette is very handy for washing dishes.
