Martin Dorm Reviews at ISU

I loved living in Martin, it was a great location and I loved the suite-style rooms. It is so nice to be close to UDCC and Windows dining halls, and it is super close to the central campus. The only thing that I noticed is that Martin floors are less social, and I think that it is because of the suite style set up. You won't meet people as you walk down the hall to the community bathroom like you would in other dorms. That being said, I loved my suitemates and my roommate and still loved living there.

Martin is a clean, well kept residence hall, but it is simply not worth the money. For relatively the same price and better amenities, get an apartment off campus. This means you can cook your own food in your own kitchen and not have to pay for a meal plan with mediocre food.

Martin has a great location on the south end of campus. Right across the street from downtown. The dorm was a college dorm. Overall it was a nice place to live, though sometimes it was a bit loud for studying.

Almost like an apartment- quiet, peaceful residence hall that is well kept. Rooms are spacious suites with their own bathroom to four people, two sets of roommates with a combined living space. Study areas around the building are also quiet and easy to focus in. Great place for a relaxing residence.
