Student across kept making noise during off hours. When confronted by other students, he acquiesced long enough for people to return to their rooms. When hall staff was involved, same thing happened. Student refused to acknowledge that others on the floor had need for quiet time during stated quiet hours; trashed the restroom and threatened physical harm to others if not left alone. When reported to police, treated as he said/she said type incident. Reports from students who have stayed in the hall or moved to Wilson (the bldg opposite) because of financial considerations echoed the same: department of residence staff do not care or are not supportive. Cheapest place to stay in on-campus housing and only a 15 min walk to campus. Close enough to where you want to be but far enough from everything else. Great situation, but hard to recommend because of lack of support from staff.
